Reiki
Reiki is a gentle practice that supports the body’s natural ability to restore balance — physically, emotionally, and spiritually. During a session, a practitioner uses light touch or holds their hands just above the body to encourage a state of deep relaxation.
Science shows that when we deeply relax, our heart rate slows, stress hormones lower, and the body can shift into a “rest-and-heal” mode. Reiki creates that space, while many also experience it as connecting to a universal life energy that nurtures and restores the whole self.
People often leave a session feeling calmer, lighter, and more centered — as though they’ve been given permission to pause and reconnect with themselves. Reiki is not about forcing change, but about gently allowing balance to return.
GuanJing Method
The GuanJing Method is a graceful, flowing practice that blends mindful movement, breathwork, and energy awareness to bring the body and mind back into harmony. It draws from traditions like Qi Gong, yoga and dance, creating sequences of spiraling, circular movements designed to release tension and restore a natural sense of balance.
From a scientific perspective, the slow, intentional movements and breathing help calm the nervous system, improve posture and mobility and support healthy circulation. This relaxed state allows the body to shift from “fight-or-flight” into “rest-and-heal,” which can improve both physical vitality and emotional well-being.
On a more spiritual level, many experience the practice as a way to reconnect with their own life energy, Qi (which is the vital life energy that flows through all living things, connecting body, mind, and spirit, and can be cultivated through movement, breath, and mindful practices to support balance, vitality, and well-being) and to gently dissolve blocks, both physical and emotional. It becomes not just exercise, but a moving meditation, a chance to express the body’s wisdom and let energy flow freely again.
